Facility Inspections
This nursing home received a strong overall score as described above, but we especially would like to emphasize its nearly flawless inspections in recent years. We gave them an A in this category. Inspection ratings account for several factors found on a nursing home's inspection report. One key criteria we look at is the quantity and severity of deficiencies. Nursing homes with higher scores in this category generally have very few of these severe deficiencies. This place received 4 deficiencies on its inspection report, but we were relieved to see that none of the deficiencies were considered to be severe deficiencies. This indicates that the government inspectors did not deem any of these deficiencies to cause an immediate risk to resident safety or health. A couple relatively minor dings are not necessarily something to panic about.

This facility received a very good nursing grade this year as well. It received one of our better scores in that category with a grade of B+. Our nursing grade is primarily associated with a facility's level of nurse staffing. This nursing home averages 0 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, our nursing grades also factor in quality-based assessments, such as avoiding major falls. This facility performed well in this area. Major falls can typically be prevented if more nurses aids and better safety protocols are in place.

It doesn't look like this nursing home provided information about its staffing of registered nurses or physical therapists. Finally, we looked at the number of residents that who were able to eventually return home from this facility. We found that 0 percent of this facility's residents returned home.
Long-term Care Quality
The final category we scored was long-term care. We awarded this facility a grade of C in that category. If you are looking for anything other than rehabilitation, you should take a close look at each nursing home's long-term care scores. After assessing the quantity of care provided by nurses and other staff, we then looked at the facility's vaccination statistics. Unfortunately, we were not able to find information about this nursing home's vaccination rates. Lastly, this facility excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. Indeed, it had only 0 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.
