Short-term Care Quality

Grade: A

On top of faring well overall, this facility earned an excellent short-term care grade. In fact, we gave it an A in that area. In determining our short-term care scores, we look at the facility's levels of highly skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists speech therapists and other highly skilled individuals. This grade is frequently a meaningful assessment of the nursing home's rehabilitation. Fortunately, it appear that this facility has registered nurses on staff. Not every facility employs these types of nurses. However, based on the information this nursing home provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. The final metric we looked at in this category is the number of residents who returned home from the nursing home. We found that 6.4 percent of this nursing home's residents returned home as opposed to remaining at the facility on a permanent basis.

This facility has received near flawless health inspections in recent years. We awarded them an impressive grade of A in this category. Although its vaccination rate was a bit lower than we like to see, this place was able to limit hospitalizations.
