In addition to being a great nursing home overall, it also earned A+ health inspections in recent years. Its inspections are virtually perfect. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in computing our inspection scores. One critical factor is health deficiencies. After assessing the volume of care provided by aids and other staff, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination data. This facility vaccinated 100 percent of its patients against pneumonia. Vaccines are critical to keeping residents out of the hospital. Clearly, this place is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. Indeed, it had only 0.03 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is an impressively low number.
