Facility Inspections

Grade: A-plus

On top of being a first rate nursing home overall, this facility also excelled in the area of inspections, where it earned a grade of A+. Few nursing homes fared this well in this area. Inspection grades are based on several items located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that score well in this area typically have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. While this nursing home had a few deficiencies on its report, none were severe based on CMS' scale. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Long-term Care Quality

Grade: A-minus

We also would like to point out the fact that this nursing home was given a dominant score of A- in our long-term care area. Nursing homes that do well in long-term care typically are well-staffed and provide extensive hands on care to patients.
