This nursing home earned a solid overall grade as described above, but we really wanted to emphasize its excellent inspection reports in recent years. We gave them an A+ in this category. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is always a good sign.

This nursing home also was awarded an impressive long-term care score. Indeed, we gave them a B+ in that area, which happens to be one of our more favorable scores. For patients in need of a permanent place to live as opposed to rehabilitation, long-term care grades are an important measure. This nursing home provided the vaccine to 77.118645 percent of its patients. This is somewhat below what we expected but still a respectable figure. Although its vaccination rate was a bit lower than we hoped for, at least this place was able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had only 0.01 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.

Next we looked at nursing grades, where this nursing home received an F, which is a rock bottom grade. This area was definitely not a strength for this facility. When calculating a facility's nursing rating, we consider the quantity of hours nurses are with patients as well as the level of licensure of those nurses. In spite of multiple acceptable grades in other categories, this score is nevertheless of a concern so we wanted to draw your attention to it.
