In addition to being a first rate facility overall, this facility also performed well in our inspections category, where it received an A+. Very few facilities performed as well in this area. Perhaps the most critical factor we look at in computing our inspection grades is deficiencies. These deficiencies can be found on a nursing home's inspection reports. Another one of this facility's impressive category grades came in the area of nursing care. We awarded them one of our better scores in that area, with a grade of B+. Finally, we also assessed several nursing quality measures and this facility excelled in some of these areas. Pressure ulcers can generally be avoided by providing better nursing care, such as having a policy of moving a patient even once per day.

However, you should not assess this nursing home solely on a single bad category, since it received some impressive scores in other areas.
