Nurse Quality
One of the many reasons this turned out to be a great nursing home is that it received an A+ nursing grade. This is simply as good as it gets in this category. Our nursing rating analyzes the facility's level of nurse staffing. We weigh both the levels of training of those nurses and the amount of time spent with residents. This facility provided 0.6 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also assessed some nursing quality measures in determining our nursing grades. This nursing home performed very well in the area of minimizing its residents' pressure ulcers and major falls. We consider these areas to be good indicators of the quality of nursing care.
Long-term Care Quality
This facility also received an A+ long-term care grade, rendering it one of the few nursing homes to be awarded multiple A+ category grades. Facilities that excel in long-term care tend to provide patients with closer supervision and stay on top of routine medical care. One of the datapoints we considered in addition to nursing hours was vaccines. This facility administered the pneumonia vaccine to 97.14285 percent of its residents. This is a proven method to minimize unnecessary hospitalizations for the senior population. Lastly, this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had less than one hospitalization per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low number.

We awarded this facility an impressive grade of A for our inspections rating. Inspection scores are based on many datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports.
