Grade: A-plus

On top of being a first rate facility overall, this facility also performed well in the area of long-term care, where it earned a grade of A+. Few facilities performed better in this category. Long-term care grades of this caliber generally require both around the clock care from nurses and aids, as well as quality routine medical care. After considering the quantity of care provided by nurses and other staff, we next considered the facility's vaccination statistics. This facility vaccinated 99.67427 percent of its residents against pneumonia. Vaccines are vital to keeping residents healthy. Facility Inspections

Grade: A-plus

The next category we looked at was inspections, where this facility also received an A+ grade. This is simply as good as it gets in this critical category. Inspection scores are based on pieces of information found on the a nursing home's recent government inspections. Facilities that receive favorable grades in this category typically have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. While this facility had some minor dings on its government inspection report, it had no severe deficiencies. Severe deficiencies are those labeled as categories G through L. This tells you CMS didn't deem any of the deficiencies on this facility's report to pose an imminent threat to patient safety or health. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Nurse Quality

Grade: A

This facility also excelled in the area of nursing, where it received a grade of A. Few nursing homes performed better in this area. In determining our nursing scores, we assess both staffing levels and the training levels of those nurses. This nursing home provides 0 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, our nursing grades also factor in quality-based assessments, such as avoiding major falls. This facility performed well in this area. Avoiding major falls is typically a good indicator that a facility has reliable quality controls in place. Major falls can many times be prevented if more nurses aids and better safety protocols are in place.

Short-term Care Quality

Grade: B-plus

In the final category we rated, this facility received an impressive grade grade of B+ in our short-term care category. With this grade, the nursing home finished off a very impressive report card. In the area of short-term care, we attempt to evaluate indicators of a facility's rehabilitation.
