We found that 6.6 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home as opposed to remaining at the nursing home on a permanent basis.

This facility vaccinated 97.31544 percent of its patients against pneumonia. Vaccines are critical to keeping residents healthy. In fact, it had only 0.01 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.

Nurse Quality

Grade: B-plus

Switching gears to the next category, this nursing home also performed well in the nursing category. In fact, we gave it a B+ for that category. This rounded out a very impressive profile. This particular nursing home provided 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, we also looked at some quality-based measures in this category. This facility fared well in some of the quality measures we assessed. By way of illustration, in terms of the number of its residents suffering from pressure ulcers, this nursing home performed better than the national average. This is generally an indicator that a facility has reliable quality controls in place. Pressure ulcers can often be prevented with better nursing care.
