On top of receiving a great overall grade, this facility also received an excellent long-term care grade, with an impressive grade of A. Facilities that do well in this category tend to be well-staffed and offer extensive hands on care to residents. After looking at the volume of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination statistics. This nursing home vaccinated 99.36306 percent of its patients against pneumonia, which is far higher than most nursing homes. Clearly, this nursing home is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its residents out of the hospital. It had only 0.02 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is an impressively low number.

Adding to its impressive category grades, this facility excelled in the area of inspections, where it earned an A. Not many nursing homes performed better in this area. Our inspection ratings are based on many datapoints located in the a nursing home's inspection reports. Places that score well in this category tend to have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these places generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. This nursing home was hit with 3 deficiencies on its inspection report, but none were considered to be severe deficiencies. This indicates that the inspectors did not deem any of these deficiencies to pose an imminent threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

However, based on the information this nursing home provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. Lastly, we assessed the percentage of residents who were able to return to the community from this nursing home. We found that 4 percent of this facility's patients returned home. At most nursing homes, closer to half of their residents are able to return home so this figure is below average.
