In addition to receiving a great overall grade, this nursing home excelled in our shot-term care category. In fact, we awarded it a grade of A for that category. Our short-term care grades are based in part on the facility's quantity of skilled nursing services. This includes a broad range of nursing services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, in addition to other forms of therapy. This facility is the gold standard in terms of skilled nursing staffing. In fact, it provided about 1.5 times as many physical therapist and registered nurse hours per resident than the typical nursing home. The last statistic we assessed in this category is the number of patients that were able to return home from the nursing home. We found that 0 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home as opposed to remaining at the facility on a permanent basis.
