To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A+ for our inspections rating. Our inspection scores are based on items found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that score well in this category have few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these facilities should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. Unfortunately, it does not look like we were able to find deficiency data for this nursing home. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.
Long-term Care Quality
In addition, this nursing home was given dominant marks in the area of long-term care. As a result, it was given one of our best grades in that category with a score of A+. Nursing homes that excel in long-term care tend to provide residents with more supervision and stay on top of routine medical care. In addition to really impressive nursing hour statistics, this facility's vaccination record is first-rate also. Indeed, it vaccinated 100 percent of its residents against pneumonia. This combination proved to be effective as this nursing home keeps its patients out of the hospital. Indeed, it had only 0.8 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.

This first-rate facility also excelled in the area of nursing, where it received a grade of A+. Few nursing homes performed better in this area. We analyzed the skill-level of nurses employed by the nursing home, in addition to the number of hours the nurses worked with patients, in calculating our grade in this category. This facility boasts a really impressive 5.6 hours of nursing care per resident daily, of which a significant percentage was provided by registered nurses. This is one of the most highly trained levels of nurses. On top of offering impressive levels of nursing care, this nursing home also excelled in several of the quality-based metrics we assessed.
