With three nursing homes in the city, there are only a couple of options in Butte, Montana. These nursing homes in this city earned this place a strong city grade of B. Surprisingly this city is the third best city in the state according to our ratings. There's nothing wrong with this city's grade, but most states have at least a handful of cities with better scores. On top of a good overall score, the nursing homes in this city received favorable government inspections in recent years. As a result, we awarded them one of our better scores in this category, with a B+. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in determining these inspection ratings. One critical factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of deficiencies is arguably more important than the number of deficiencies, as some of these can be relatively minor. In addition, Butte also excelled in the category of government short-term care with a B+.
