GetSafe'sOn-The-Go System

GetSafe's devices are mostly used home-based but it also offers an on-the-go system as an add-on on top of your plan for an additional cost.

Water Resistance

Their wearable help button with fall detection monitoring and their mobile GPS help button are water-resistant so you can take it with you in the shower or anywhere else around the house.

Battery Life

Their help button lasts up to 5 years and they'll notify you once it needs replacement. They'll ship one if that happens.

GPS Location Tracking

GetSafe’s optional mobile help button is GPS supported.This add-on gives you the protection of a home-based system while also allowing you to take it with you wherever you go.

Fall Detection

You may add auto fall detection to your plan for an additional $10 a month. Otherwise, you may opt to add fall detection monitoring to your wearable help button that also costs $10 a month.

Caregiver App

Their caregiver tracking app is available on their Mobile GPS Help Button for an additional $5 a month.

Water Resistance

Button's range isn't necessary for GetSafe's home-based system, as it is intended only for use inside the home. However, when you added the wearable help button along with your plan, it can cover 800ft of linear range. This means it covers most households including the front and backyard.

Fall Detection

Cellular Fee

GetSafe does not charge a monthly fee for their cellular connection. Base Unit

The 4G-LTE base unit is the brains of the GetSafe system. It's an easy-to-use, cellular-connected, in-home console that acts as the control center for your security system. It has a two-way speaker, so you can communicate with the monitoring center directly from the unit. There's also an emergency button that, when pressed, will immediately send a signal to the monitoring center and start the help process.

It features an amplified speakerphone and ultra-sensitive microphone, so you can hear and be heard clearly. The base unit also has a 32-hour backup battery in case of a power outage. Plus, it looks great too – it comes in a sleek white finish that will fit in nicely with any home décor.

Voice-Activated Wall Button

The voice-activated wall button is a compact, wireless and water-resistant device that can be placed anywhere in your home – next to your bed, in the bathroom, on the staircase, etc. It is voice-enabled and has a button and a pull-cord that gives you many ways to get help.

Standard Wall Button

The standard wall button is a more basic version of the voice-activated wall button. The button is wireless, water-resistant, and easy to install but doesn't have a voice-activation feature.

We recommend placing this device by the shower and other areas where falls and accidents will most likely occur. GetSafe designed the button to be bright red in color so that it's easily visible and recessed from the device to reduce the risk of accidental pressing.

Standard

The Standard plan includes one 4G-LTE base unit, two voice-activated wall buttons, one standard wall button, and one personal help button. The device cost is $179 for this plan. This is designed for most single-family homes with two to three bedrooms.

Select

This plan includes one 4G-LTE base unit, three voice-activated wall buttons, 2 standard wall buttons, and one personal help button. The one-time device fee for this plan costs $279. GetSafe's Select plan is designed to provide protection for larger, multi-level homes with many bedrooms and bathrooms.

3 Ways to Get Help

Now that you know what kind of protection GetSafe has to offer as well as the pricing and the devices included in their plans, let's go over how you can get help in case of an emergency. You can get help using GetSafe's devices in three easy ways:

Call

The first way you can get help is by using the base unit or voice-activated wall button to call for help. Just simply say "call 9-1-1, call 9-1-1" and you'll immediately activate the base unit which will start calling the monitoring center. The "emergency call button" on the wall button also works in a similar way. Once you press it, it will also immediately connect you to the monitoring center.

Press

Second, you can get help by pressing the help button with any of the GetSafe systems. This button is available on GetSafe's base console, voice-activated wall button, standard wall button, pendant, and even with the mobile GPS help button.

Pull

Lastly, a pull-cord is attached to the voice-activated wall button which, when pulled, will also trigger the system to call for help.

Monitoring Center

GetSafe's headquarters is located in Concord, California. They have monitoring centers located in Ogden, Utah and Rexburg, Idaho working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
