As mentioned above, this city received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that we awarded Anchorage an elite grade of A in the area of short-term care. With a short-term care grade in this range we would expect most of the nursing homes this city to a high functioning physical therapy and rehabilitation program. In addition, the city also really excelled in the area of nursing, where it received an A-. In the other categories we looked at, Anchorage earned a grade of B for its inspections score and a grade of C for long-term care.
