There are two nursing homes in Cheswick, Pennsylvania, which at least gives you a few options to choose from. These nursing homes received on average an overall grade of C. This isn't a terrible score, but it isn't quite as high of a grade as we had hoped for either. This score is not necessarily the end of the world, but it is definitely below average by national standards. One of the highlights of this city's profile is its nursing homes' strong inspection grades, which is addressed in the following paragraph.
This city's nursing homes' overall grade was propped up by its favorable government inspections in recent years. We gave them one of our higher grades in that area, with a B. Arguably the most significant factor we consider in calculating our inspection scores is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities with higher scores in this area most likely dodged the more severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. Cheswick received its next best score in the category of short-term care, where we gave it a grade of B-, which also isn't too bad. Lastly, this place earned a C for its nursing rating and a C in long-term care.
