With a population of 27,346 , Rahway, New Jersey is a relatively small city. There are only 2 nursing homes in the city, which does not provide you with too many options. Despite not having a ton of nursing homes, this city received a top-notch city grade of A-. In fact, this place's city grade was far better than the city grade of facilities in the local city of New Brunswick. While there is nothing wrong with this grade, we found Rahway to be on a whole other level. We were pleased to find one first-class facility here. You probably can not go wrong starting your search with this nursing home.
To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this city's nursing homes an A+ for our inspections category. Arguably the most important factor we consider in calculating our inspection grades is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places with higher grades in this area most likely dodged the more severe deficiencies involving patient abuse or death. In addition, the city also performed spectacularly well in the area of short-term care, where it received an A for that area. Wrapping up its first-rate report card, the city received grades of A- and B for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively.
