Canton, Massachusetts offers just two nursing homes to choose from, which is not a ton of options. While it only has a couple of nursing homes, this city received a phenomenal city grade of A-. In fact, this city's city grade was far better than the city grade of facilities in the nearby city of Watertown. While the nursing homes in Watertown are not that bad, we found Canton to be in a totally different league. This city's impressive profile was highlighted by its nursing homes' nursing ratings, which we will address in the next paragraph.
On top of having excellent nursing homes on the whole, this city's nursing homes really excelled in our nursing category where it earned a grade of A. Not many cities fared this well in this category. Strong scores in this category usually mean a city's nursing homes have favorable nurse staffing levels. We also wanted to point out that we gave the city an A- for our short-term care category. Wrapping up its impressive profile, this place earned a grade of B+ for its inspections grade and a grade of B+ for long-term care. This city did not have any weak links based on our assessment.
