This facility vaccinated 100 percent of its residents against pneumonia. Vaccines are critical to keeping residents out of the hospital. Lastly, this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. It had only 0.02 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.

Short-term Care Quality

Short-term care scores are based in part on a facility's quantity of highly-skilled skilled healthcare professionals. Fortunately, it appear that this nursing home employs registered nurses. Not all nursing homes employs these types of nurses. On the other hand, based on the data they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. Lastly, we considered the number of residents who who were able to eventually return home from this facility. We found that 0 percent of this nursing home's residents returned home.

Facility Inspections

Grade: A

Lastly, this nursing home also earned excellent government inspections in recent years. We gave it one of our best scores in the area of inspections, with an A. Few other nursing homes earned an A- or better in all four categories. Inspection ratings weigh several factors, including deficiencies, substantiated complaints and federal fines. You can find more information about each of these issues by obtaining copies of nursing homes' inspection reports. It does not look like we were able to find deficiency data for this nursing home. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.
